You may very well wonder why the name, Feathers From The Wren’s Nest. I would like to enlighten you ... On the day I entered this big, wide world my dear aunt proffered the name Jenny for the newborn babe after a sweet, diminutive bird, the wren. How befitting that an abiding childhood memory, whilst playing shops for real, is of my attempt to buy an ice cream cone from Tonibell with a solitary farthing, which you may recall delightfully depicted a wren on the tail. To my utter dismay, I was politely told that I would need a piggy-bank full of such coins! Many moons later, in a long-held family tradition, I had more joy spending my lolly collecting preloved possessions from yesteryear to feather my nest. Following in my grandfather’s footsteps, I have begun to offer some desirables for sale, Feathers From The Wren’s Nest ... Thank you to all those who came to see my perch on the landing outside The Victoria Room at the Vintage Christmas Fair 2014 presented by A Kentish Affair, in particular friends including four legged ones and my customers. I am so pleased that you found a feather or two for yourself, your nest or a loved one! Jenny, FEATHERS FROM THE WREN'S NEST
